The secondary one posting exercise starts tomorrow, with the day after tomorrow (20 Jan) being the first day the kids report to their new primary school.
The first day of reporting is filled with anticipation both for parents and their children. Reporting time is 8:30 am and the morning will be filled with briefings on school history, culture, rules, routines, administration, orientation, and information on where to buy the school uniform and books. The whole event should end no later than noon because the schools won’t want it to spill over to lunch time.
Do bring along some cash or your ATM card in case the school has brought the uniform and textbook vendors down and if you wish to settle all that in a single day. However, you may also choose to do that on another time as the queues may be long. Furthermore, some schools partner major bookstores nowadays to have their textbooks purchase done online.
Students who are interested to appeal and also do so over the next few days at their reporting school.
